Early Supports and Services

Data represent number of Coös children who participate in Early Supports and Services. The program is designed for children ages 0-3 who have a diagnosed developmental delay, have a diagnosed condition that brings with it a high probability of resulting in a developmental delay, or are at risk for substantial developmental delays if services are not provided.

Throughout New Hampshire, services are delivered by contractual agreements between the Bureau of Developmental Services and designated service agencies throughout the state. In Coös County, these services are provided by Northern Human Services. Services include family support and education, vision and hearing services, medical and diagnostic and other health services, physical, occupational and speech therapy, and other services. For more information, see Family-Centered Early Supports and Services.
